Sabbir Ahmed
Hi, I’m Sabbir Ahmed, a second-year CS PhD student at SUNY Binghamton. I’m interested in improving the safety, robustness, efficiency and generalization of deep learning algorithms, focusing on Semi/Unsupervised Learning, Federated Learning, and LLMs.
Before starting my PhD, I completed my MS in Electrical Engineering from University of California Riverside (UCR) and my BS in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). I also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at REVE Systems, Bangladesh, where I contributed to developing a Bengali language grammar and spell checker named Shothik.
My research has been published in multiple top-tier AI/ML conferences including CVPR and ICCV.
